Oh My! D&F ladies!
It's been so long since I have popped over on the D&F blog!
I have been a little slack! ... No just super busy. Work , work & more work, not a lot of time to play.
Boring ...

I had so much fun playing with the colour orange, it was pretty easy for me.

For this layout I used:

Cheapy Craft Paint, Gesso,  Close To My Heart Watercolours, Amy Tan Plus One papers, Prima Marketing papers, dollie, tag, fabric star, flair, alpha stickers.

and these AWESOME new stamps from Close to my Heart! ......

" Ink Blot Flair" & " Hello Life - Scrapbooking "

So here its is.....

" Happy Little Oompa Loompa"

I have blacked out my daughters school name for privacy ... :)

Not my Usual Colour :)

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well :)

This months challenge really got me out of my comfort zone..... I don't really scrap much with orange so I really enjoyed having to think out side the box :)

I just kept it simple for this layout and just enjoyed getting some mojo back (its been gone for a long time and is SLOWLY creeping back )

I look forward to seeing your entries :)

Thanks for stopping by

September Challenge!

Hi everyone
Just popping in to release the challenge for this month.......

This month's sponsor is the lovely Jodi at Corbett Creations.  She makes the most amazing Wood Veneers, and she is donating a prize this month (thanks Jodi)

As it's officially the first day of SPRING! (yay, finally), and this makes me and I'm sure you very HAPPY, so let's create a monochromatic creation using ORANGE (as this is bright and happy)! You can team it with black and/or white.  You can use any shade or different shades of orange that you like.

I love orange and I love that this challenge can be 'girly' or 'blokey'.  It suits anything. In my case, 'catty'.   Yes I have a black cat so decided to scrap a layout of her.  I went with a black polka dot background, and smeared a bit of gesso around.  I then stamped a little and added a few layers in orange.  It came together really quickly, and here it is:

Here's a close up:

I really hope you join in this month. We love seeing what you do with the challenges.  It doesn't have to be a layout - it could be a card, a mini-book, a journal page - whatever!
Don't forget to link up when you have completed your entry.

Happy SPRING!!
